Guillermo Ivan embarked on a multifaceted career as an actor, producer, writer, and director, laying the groundwork for his future success several years prior. However, it was in 2016 that he began to garner international recognition, with films like "The Strike" earning the prestigious Best Comedy award at the Manhattan Film Festival, and "Habana Instant" taking home top honors at the Montreal World Film Festival, in addition to claiming the Best Actor award at the Tequila Film Festival Guadalajara.
As a talented thespian, Guillermo has taken on leading roles in various television shows, including the critically acclaimed "El Desconocido" (The Unknown Hitman) and the NBC/Telemundo production "Al Otro Lado del Muro". He has also had the privilege of playing the iconic role of Juan Diego in the revered "Lady of Guadalupe".
In recent years, Guillermo has continued to push boundaries, premiering "The Last Rumba" on both Showtime and Paramount Plus. His impressive body of work has not gone unnoticed, as he was honored with the esteemed Diamond Award for Best Performer in 2020. Furthermore, in 2021, he received a nomination for an Oscar Signature Award at the World Film Festival in Dubai.
Guillermo's most recent endeavors have seen him starring alongside notable actors such as Michael Jai White and Tom Berenger in the action-packed "As Good As Dead", as well as Jason Patric and Cam Gigandet in the equally intense "Shrapnel". With two new action movies, "As Good As Dead" and "Shrapnel", Guillermo is currently gearing up to premiere his latest films in 2024, including "Six Hours Away", "Desert Dawn" alongside Kevin Lutz, and "Doctor Doctor".
