Guel Arraes, a renowned filmmaker, entered the world on December 12, 1953, in the vibrant city of Recife, located in the northeastern Brazilian state of Pernambuco. This talented director and writer has made a lasting impact on the film industry, with his most notable works including the critically acclaimed "A Dog's Will" (2000),"Lisbela and the Prisoner" (2003),and "A Comedy of Private Lives" (1995).
