Griffin is a multifaceted Canadian actor and producer who has made a significant impact in the film, theatre, and voice industries over the past decade. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, his creative journey began at a young age through his involvement with various theatre programs, including Theatre Works, Quest Theatre, Calgary Young People's Theatre, Theatre Alberta's ARTSTREK, and Central Memorial Performing and Visual Arts Program.
As a professional, Griffin started his career at the tender age of twelve, taking on the lead role in A Paintbrush for Piccolo with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and performing in the iconic 1700-seat Jack Singer Concert Hall. This early start laid the foundation for his future endeavors, and he soon secured his first film role, acting alongside renowned actors Matthew Perry and Maggie Grace in the feature film The Ron Clark Story.
Throughout his career, Griffin has had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of talented individuals, including Stephen Amell, Colm Feore, and many more. His extensive list of credits includes television shows such as Heartland, Abracadavers, Pet Heroes, and Hug-O-Gram, as well as feature films like Everfall and When Calls The Heart.
Griffin's impressive resume also includes his work with various theatre companies, including Theatre Calgary, Theatre Junction, The Shakespeare Company, Lunchbox Theatre, Birnton Theatricals, Thou Art Here Theatre, Calgary Opera, Shakespeare By The Bow, W&M Physical Theatre, and the In Arms Theatre Collective. He has also had the distinction of being the former host of the talk-show Studio 315 on Shaw TV.
In addition to his on-screen and stage work, Griffin has also lent his voice to several notable projects, including Cardfight! Vanguard, Futurecard BuddyFight X, and Futurecard BuddyFight Hundred. His impressive range and versatility have earned him numerous accolades, including being named one of the 10 Lieutenant Governor of Alberta's Emerging Artists in 2020, one of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts' Top 25 Young Artists in 2017, and a BroadwayWorld Awards for Best Actor in a Play (Professional) for Becky Modes' one-person show Fully Committed.
Griffin's dedication to his craft has also earned him recognition as the recipient of the Duval Lang Theatre for Young Audience Emerging Leader Award at the 2015 Betty Mitchell Awards and as an Arts Champion of Calgary in 2012. He is proudly represented by The Characters Talent Agency.
