Gökçen Gökçebag, a talented individual, completed his academic journey at Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts in the year 2002, marking the beginning of his illustrious career.
In 2005, he embarked on an internship at Adana State Theater, gaining valuable experience and laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
Fast forward to 2008, Gökçen made the bold decision to pursue his Master's degree in Acting at The New School for Drama in New York, further refining his craft and expanding his artistic horizons.
Upon his return to Turkey, he made a significant impact in the entertainment industry, co-starring in Sahan Gökbakar's mainstream movie "Celal ile Ceren" and performing in numerous theatre plays, including "Derme Çatma Hamlet", "Kuslar Meclisi", and "Sahne Denilen Büyülü Kutu".
Gökçen's impressive portfolio also includes television series such as "Not Defteri", "Askin Kanunu", and "Sehrin Melekleri", showcasing his versatility as a performer.
Currently, he is actively involved with Talimhane Tiyatrosu, starring in theatre plays "Yoldan Çikan Oyun" and "Baba ve Piç".
In addition to his acting accomplishments, Gökçen has also ventured into direction, adapting the movie "Cheap Thrills" into a theatre play of the same name, demonstrating his dedication to the craft and his passion for storytelling.
