Giovanni's early life was marked by his birth in Bogota, Colombia, where he was raised by his mother and grandmother, alongside his three older sisters. The family later relocated to Hialeah, Florida, when Giovanni was just four years old.
Growing up, Giovanni developed a passion for baseball, taking to the sport from the age of eight. Despite struggling at first, he persisted, and his determination ultimately paid off when he found himself batting first and playing first base. This experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors, as he went on to appear in various baseball commercials and films.
However, it wasn't until Giovanni took a TV Production class on a dare during his sophomore year in high school that he discovered his true calling. He was bitten by the acting bug, and his teacher recognized his talent early on, giving him the opportunity to conduct his first on-air interview.
Giovanni's newfound passion led him to become a news anchorman in high school and later secure extra work on the set of Seaquest DSV, marking his first television appearance. Over the course of the past twenty years, he has continued to hone his craft, working in various capacities on film sets, including assistant directing, acting, and performing stunts.
With his extensive experience and numerous accomplishments, Giovanni has set his sights on producing in the future. He attributes his success to his unwavering optimism and willingness to take risks, often advising others to "life is short, dream big, and go for it."
