Gina L. was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where her innate writing ability won her first poetry contest at Holy Family private elementary school before she turned 7 years old. She then attended Nazareth High School, where her love of storytelling and exploring imaginative possibilities led her to continue her education at James Madison University. At JMU, she majored in Media Arts and Design, concentrating on print and online journalism.
After graduating, Gina moved to New York City, where she worked in fashion and product placement at Blue Stripe PR firm. However, she soon left the city to pursue a career in public relations and fashion writing. Her journey next took her to Los Angeles, where she enrolled in a post-grad intensive writing certificate program in Entertainment and Film. During this program, Gina had the opportunity to work on a Boston University commercial as a makeup artist and even stepped in as an actor at the request of her professor.
This experience sparked a newfound passion for acting and modeling, which eventually led her to begin studies at Lesly Kahn & Co. Her passion for acting grew naturally, and she became committed to pursuing a career in acting. Over the past year, Gina has appeared in multiple print and online modeling campaigns for Dakini Designs and Malibu Spray Tan, as well as a music video, an AFI short student film, and a PSA featuring Jack Black and Tenacious D. The PSA, titled "Helping Parents to Rock," aired on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! and continues to air as a preview in movie theaters nationally.
