Giedre Jackyte, a multifaceted London-based artist, boasts an impressive repertoire as an actress, dancer, and martial artist. Born in the quaint countryside town of Kazlu Ruda, Lithuania, she embarked on an international journey at the tender age of 19, relocating to London to pursue her passion for dance.
Giedre enrolled at the University of Roehampton, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in performing arts. Complementing her academic endeavors, she honed her performance skills at the esteemed IDENTITY School of Acting.
Early on, Giedre demonstrated a keen interest in sports, which led her to train in Karate Kyokushin and participate in national youth competitions. Her martial arts journey has continued to evolve, with Giedre currently training in Eskrima Doce Pares, a traditional Filipino martial art. This discipline has yielded impressive results, as she has claimed the title of 2x World Champion.
Giedre's dedication to her craft has also led her to acquire an instructor's qualification. She currently shares her expertise as a teacher at the Hybrid FMA club in London, inspiring a new generation of martial artists.
