Gianni was born in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California, and currently resides in the picturesque Santa Clarita Valley with his older brother, Anthony, and their parents, who operate a Respite Agency that primarily caters to individuals with developmental disabilities. This unique setup is influenced by the fact that Anthony, Gianni's older brother, is on the Autism Spectrum and works with severe Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). In fact, Gianni has even drawn inspiration from his brother's autistic traits, utilizing them for a role he played as a young individual with schizophrenia.
Growing up in an environment rich in the arts, Gianni's parents, who met in an acting class, instilled in him a deep appreciation for the craft. At the tender age of 8, Gianni approached his mother with an eagerness to break into the television industry. Taking this as her cue, Gianni's mother secured him representation by taking pictures of him in their backyard. This marked the beginning of Gianni's journey in the entertainment industry.
The early years of Gianni's career required a significant amount of self-promotion and "pro-bono" work, including student films. However, his big break came in the form of a non-union insurance commercial, where he shared the screen with a majestic 6,000-pound juvenile elephant named "Suzy". Following this opportunity, Gianni's representation improved, and his resume began to flourish.
