Gerald Jackson Jr., a native of Jacksonville, Florida, was nurtured in a rich environment that fostered his profound enthusiasm for the art of filmmaking. Upon completing his undergraduate degree in Broadcast/Film at the University of North Florida, he embarked on a journey that would propel him towards realizing his cinematic aspirations.

His early endeavors included serving as an assistant on the television series "Safe Harbor" and making a notable acting appearance in Joel Schumacher's "Tigerland." This valuable experience laid the groundwork for his subsequent academic pursuits, as he went on to earn a degree in Film Studies from Columbia University in New York City.

In 2002, Gerald's talent and dedication earned him a coveted spot in the prestigious Florida State University Film Conservatory, where he would hone his skills and produce the feature film "Coochie" (2004),starring the esteemed actress Tyra Ferrell. His time at the conservatory culminated in the attainment of a Master's degree in Film Production in August 2004.

Today, Gerald is actively engaged in scripting feature-length films and participating in various productions, a testament to his unwavering passion for the craft and his relentless pursuit of excellence in the world of cinema.
