Gerald Auger is a multifaceted individual who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry, entrepreneurship, and beyond. Hailing from Wabasca, Alberta, he is a proud member of the First Nations community, specifically of Woodland Cree descent.
Auger's educational background is impressive, having earned a Marketing Management diploma and a Small Business Management certificate from Grande Prairie Regional College in 1995.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Auger was awarded the prestigious National Native Role Model by the Governor General of Canada in both 1996 and 1997. This esteemed honor granted him the opportunity to embark on a remarkable journey, visiting over thirteen communities across Canada.
During this two-year period, Auger dedicated himself to inspiring his fellow aboriginal peers, sharing stories about his personal experiences, and fostering meaningful connections with locals through various cultural events and ceremonies.
