Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Georin is the eldest of five siblings, to Harry Oliver, a retired firefighter, and Sylvia (Matthews),a dedicated mental health employee. Growing up, Georin was exposed to various fields of study, including criminology, computer and electronic engineering, and electrical engineering, before discovering his true passion for the arts while working on the set of The Temptations (1998).
However, it wasn't until 10 years later, in 2008, that Georin rekindled his acting career. He went on to collaborate with esteemed institutions such as Quantum Theatre, GRW Theatre through Point Park University, and Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre, further refining his craft through indie films and commercials.
