Georgis Grigorakis

Georgis embarked on an academic journey in the United Kingdom, delving into the realm of social psychology, prior to furthering his knowledge with a Master's degree in Directing at the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS). Since 2007, Georgis has been prolific in his creative pursuits, crafting and directing an array of short films that have garnered significant attention and acclaim, being showcased and recognized at numerous film festivals around the world. Notably, Georgis' debut feature, Digger, received valuable support during its developmental phase courtesy of the esteemed Cannes Festival Cinéfondation Residency and the renowned Sundance Screenwriters Lab. The feature subsequently made its world premiere at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival, where it was distinguished with the coveted CICAE Art Cinema Award.
