George Rainsford, a talented individual, was born in the charming town of Huddersfield, nestled in the picturesque county of Yorkshire, in the year 1982. His early life was marked by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for the performing arts, which would eventually lead him to attend the prestigious Repton School in Derbyshire.
As he navigated his academic journey, Rainsford became an integral part of the National Youth Theatre in 1999, further honing his craft and developing his skills as a young artist. Concurrently, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama at the University of Manchester, where he immersed himself in student theatre and continued to nurture his talent.
In 2003, Rainsford's hard work and dedication paid off when he was awarded a Goldman-Sachs Scholarship to the esteemed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Upon graduating in 2006, he made his professional debut as D'Artagnan in the Bristol Old Vic's Christmas production of 'The Three Musketeers', marking the beginning of a successful and illustrious career.
Throughout his professional journey, Rainsford has made a name for himself through his impressive performances in numerous television shows, including "Casualty", "Call The Midwife", and "Waking The Dead", as well as his extensive work in theatre, which has taken him to iconic venues such as the Royal Court, RSC, and National Theatre.
