Gavin Millar

Gavin Millar, a renowned television and film director, was born in Clydebank, Scotland, to a working-class family, which later relocated to England when he was just nine years old. Following his education, Millar served his national service in the Royal Air Force before pursuing his academic interests by studying English at Oxford University. His early career in the 1960s was marked by his notable work as a director for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
