Gary was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in July 1971. He spent his early childhood in Bridgeport before moving to Scranton, Pennsylvania at the age of 8. After a few years in Scranton, his family relocated to Syracuse, New York due to a job transfer. Gary resided in the Liverpool, New York area for about 10 years and then moved back to Scranton, Pennsylvania to complete his degree in Computer Sciences in 1993.
Gary's interest in music led him to form a side band called Bak Alley with members of the local Pennsylvania band Cheap N Nasty. The band recorded two ballads, "Tell Me Why" and "Far and Away", both written at a gas station in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
In 1997, Gary relocated to Allentown, Pennsylvania to work as a DJ for local nightclubs and adult entertainment complexes. He worked for several clubs and companies, including the Cabaret Adult club in Kingston, Pennsylvania, the Grandview in Daleville, Pennsylvania, and the Professional DJ company, Pro's.
Gary's passion for music and DJing eventually led him to compose a 9-track CD of dance music tracks. One of the songs, "Tribute", appears in his directorial debut film "Deadlands: The Rising" (2006).
Gary relocated to Baltimore, Maryland in December 2002 and then to Gaithersburg, Maryland in 2004. During his time in Baltimore, he started and hosted an online radio station, Wetnwildradio.com, and wrote a 128-page screenplay for a zombie film titled Beyond Dead, which was later used for his film "Deadlands: The Rising".
Gary began writing a short story titled Deadlands, which evolved into a 30-page outline for a zombie outbreak scenario. The outline was used to film "Deadlands: The Rising", and Gary won five awards from two film festivals, including Best Director, Best Zombie Movie, and Excellence award.
When not filming, Gary works as a Quality Assurance Specialist and has worked in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries for the past 12 years.
