Gary, a man of diverse talents, was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but grew up in the picturesque city of Lakeland, Florida. After dedicating 30 illustrious years to the Lakeland Police Department, Gary retired as the official spokesperson, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication.
However, his passion for the film industry was just beginning to unfold. In 2009, Gary landed his big break as a Police Technical Advisor on the set of the crime thriller "Endure", written and directed by Joe O'Brien. This marked the start of his journey as a consultant, putting his extensive knowledge to the test, and even earning a spot as a featured extra in the film.
Gary's remarkable career has seen him work full-time as a contractual Public Information Officer, while also pursuing his passion for acting and consulting in the film and television industry. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with the Discovery Channel on several crime syndicate series, as well as local production companies on various commercials.
As his reputation for playing a cop grew, Gary continued to challenge himself with each new role. He appeared in a string of indie films, including "The Breaking Point" (2014),"Two Days" (2016),and "Turnaround" (2017). His impressive acting skills were showcased in films such as "Frank vs God", featuring Henry Ian Cusick, and "The Florida Project", alongside Willem Dafoe.
Gary's dedication to authenticity and realism has earned him a reputation as a reliable consultant, having worked on films like "The Groveland Four", which won the Grand Jury Winner, Best Documentary Film at the Orlando Urban Film Festival.
