Garrett Allain's journey in theatre began at a relatively young age, with his older brother serving as a significant source of inspiration. As soon as the opportunity arose, he seized the chance to relocate to New York City immediately after completing high school, having been accepted into the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
During his initial year at AMDA, he had the unique opportunity to attend Saturday Night Live dress rehearsals or live shows on weekends. Upon completing his first year at the institution, he made the decision to transfer to the Los Angeles campus, ultimately graduating a year later.
In 2013, Garrett Allain made the move to Chicago, Illinois, where he pursued further studies and honed his skills at the renowned Second City Training Center.
