Fritz Bohm is a multifaceted filmmaker with a diverse range of creative endeavors to his credit. As a director, writer, and producer, he has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. One of his most notable works is the horror/fantasy drama Wildling, released in 2018, which starred Bel Powley, Brad Dourif, and Liv Tyler. Additionally, Bohm co-wrote the screenplay for the 2021 film Escape Room: Tournament of Champions.
In his native Germany, Bohm has also made a name for himself as a writer and director. His 2006 film Mondmann was a festival hit, and he has also produced several award-winning feature films, including Tage die bleiben (2011) and Desperados on the Block (2009).
Before establishing himself as a filmmaker, Bohm honed his skills as a visual effects artist and post-production supervisor. He graduated from the University of Television & Film Munich (HFF München) and began his career producing short films.
In 2013, Bohm relocated to Los Angeles, where he now resides and works closely with his wife, writer and producer Christine Lavaf. Together, they run the production shingle Tough Cookie Entertainment, allowing them to collaborate on a range of projects.
