Biography

Born in the year 1930, Wiseman is a resident of Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a distinguished member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, whose remarkable journey into the world of filmmaking began in 1967, following a long and illustrious career as an instructor and/or researcher at esteemed institutions such as Boston University, Brandeis University, and Harvard.

Prior to his foray into filmmaking, Wiseman's academic pursuits had already taken him down a path of intellectual curiosity and exploration, with his research and teaching endeavors serving as a foundation for his future endeavors.

In 1970, Wiseman took the bold step of founding Zipporah Films, Inc., an independent production company that has since become synonymous with the distribution of his thought-provoking and insightful documentaries.

Throughout his career, Wiseman has not only honed his craft as a filmmaker but has also demonstrated a deep commitment to the written word, authoring numerous articles and books on law enforcement issues, and sharing his expertise through lectures and public speaking engagements.
