Frank Sacks is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of skills and experiences. Born in Chicago, he went on to attend Boston University and San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film.
Prior to pursuing a career in the film industry, Sacks worked as a talent agent for ICM Talent and Motion Picture Agent, and later as an international film sales agent. He also gained valuable experience working for two Wall Street investment banks, Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney Harris Upham. This financial background enabled him to write and produce his own work, which now includes three feature films with two more in development.
As a published author, Sacks has adapted his last two books for Hearst Publishing and St. Martin's Press/Tor Books. He has written and produced several films, including Extreme Justice (1993),Nico the Unicorn (1998),and Lady Godiva: Back in the Saddle (2007). His latest project is a US/UK co-production comedy, for which he shared story credit and executive produced.
In addition to his work in the film industry, Sacks has also written a third book, "The Waterbed Wars", which is based on a true story set in San Francisco in the 1970s. The hardcover edition is now available on Amazon.com. His new screenplay, Hot Foot!, is a comedy in development based on a true story.
Sacks has also created a board game, "The Movie Game", which was originally developed in 1981 and was distributed to over 500 stores nationwide. The game was featured in a story by The Wall Street Journal and is now under development for release in Q3 2015.
Throughout his career, Sacks has demonstrated his versatility and talent in multiple fields, from film and literature to finance and game design.
