Frances Derham, a seasoned Creative Producer, has amassed a diverse portfolio of work in television advertisements, short films, documentaries, and photography. Her background in creative advertising and photography production has instilled in her a profound understanding of audience dynamics and a strategic commercial vision that informs every project she undertakes.
Following the successful creation and production of her debut feature documentary, "First Love," in 2011, Derham went on to assume the role of Associate Producer on the children's television series "Conspiracy 365" in 2012. She subsequently honed her skills as a freelancer, taking on various roles including Assistant Director, Production Assistant, and Casting Agent.
In 2016, Derham began focusing full-time as a Director with The Directors Group, where she continued to refine her craft. During this period, she collaborated with long-time partner Clare Plueckhahn, and together they formed the production company "Cos We Can." Under this banner, Derham worked as a Producer from 2016 to 2019, developing a range of projects that showcased her expertise in empowering women.
One notable example of her work in this area is the Executive Production of the girls' ski film "Finding the Line" in 2017. When she is not engaged in production, Derham dedicates her time to writing, developing, and collaborating on documentary and drama concepts.
