Noted thespian Firdous Bamji, a man of diverse cultural heritage, was born in the vibrant city of Bombay, before his family relocated to the tranquil surroundings of Bahrain, followed by the picturesque hill station of Kodaikanal in South India. His formative years were later spent in the charming southern city of Columbia, South Carolina, where he developed a deep appreciation for the arts. With a career spanning numerous stages across New York and the United States, Firdous has had the privilege of performing in a wide range of plays, showcasing his exceptional acting abilities. He has had the distinction of playing leading roles in premiere productions of works by renowned playwrights such as Tony Kushner, Tom Stoppard, Rebecca Gilman, and Eric Bogosian, among others. Furthermore, Firdous's talents have been recognized with a prestigious nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2006, for his outstanding performance in the film "The War Within".
