Biography

Finn Wittrock, a talented actor, was born in Lenox, Massachusetts, where his father worked at the renowned Shakespeare and Company stage. Growing up near this esteemed institution, Finn's early life was heavily influenced by the world of theater. At the age of 12, he relocated to Los Angeles, California, and attended the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA),where he honed his craft.

After completing his high school education, Finn took a year off to pursue his passion for acting, appearing in various television shows, including "ER," "Cold Case," "CSI: Miami," and the beloved "Halloweentown High." He then decided to further his education by attending the esteemed Juilliard School, where he spent four years perfecting his craft.

Upon completing his studies, Finn resurfaced on the daytime soap opera "All My Children," before appearing in Tony Kushner's off-Broadway production of "The Illusion" at the Signature Theatre. His outstanding performance caught the attention of renowned director Mike Nichols, who invited him to audition for the role of Happy in the Broadway production of "Death of a Salesman." Finn's talent was recognized, and he made his Broadway debut in this production.

Finn returned to the Broadway stage in 2017 with a starring role in "The Glass Menagerie," opposite Sally Field and directed by Sam Gold. He has also appeared in various productions at the Goodman Theatre, including Tennessee Williams's "Sweet Bird of Youth," opposite Diane Lane and directed by David Cromer.

In addition to his stage work, Finn has appeared in a range of films, including "Judy," "Semper Fi," "The Last Black Man in San Francisco," "If Beale Street Could Talk," and "The Big Short." He has been nominated for two Emmy Awards for his performances in "American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace" and "American Horror Story: Freakshow."

Finn has also made appearances in various television shows, including "Masters of Sex" on Showtime, "The Normal Heart" on HBO, and "Criminal Minds." He originated the role of Damon on the soap opera "All My Children" and has made appearances on shows such as "Harry's Law," "CSI: Miami," "Cold Case," and "ER."

In addition to his acting career, Finn is also a writer. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film "The Submarine Kid" with his lifelong friend Eric Bilitch, which was adapted from their original script.
