Growing up, he led a typical life, similar to that of his peers, until a pivotal moment changed the course of his existence. A group of casting agents arrived at his school, seeking a young boy to star in a film. This chance encounter marked the beginning of his illustrious career, at the tender age of 15.
The film that launched his professional journey was The Good Life (1996),directed by the acclaimed David Trueba. This initial foray into the world of cinema was followed by another notable performance in Backroads (1997),which earned him a Goya nomination for Best New Actor. Although he did not take home the award, he continued to hone his craft, undeterred.
A brief appearance in The Ugliest Woman in the World (1999) preceded his leading role in the fantasy film El corazón del guerrero (1999),the directorial debut of Daniel Monzon. The year 2000 brought new opportunities, including the film Nico and Dani (2000),which allowed him to explore a different character, delving into the complexities of a teenager's mind when falling in love with his best friend. Additionally, he received an award at the Valencia Young Film Festival, recognizing his promising future in cinematography.
