Felix Luther Taylor was born on May 22nd, 1980, in London, England, to Queen drummer Roger Taylor and his first wife, Dominique Beyrand. He is the oldest child and has a younger sister, doctor Rory Eleanor Taylor, and three younger half-siblings from his father's relationship with Deborah Leng.
As a child, Felix inspired his father to write Queen's hit song "Radio Gaga". According to Roger Taylor, the song was originally intended to be titled "Radio Caca", but they couldn't record it as such, so they changed it to "Radio Ga Ga". Sometimes, they would even sing "Ca ca" instead.
Felix attended Bedales school and later studied at Chelsea College of Art, graduating from the University of Sussex in Brighton. After his studies, he briefly worked in the music industry, playing drums and forming the Felix & Arty band with his father. They released their debut single "Woman You're So Beautiful" via iTunes in October 2006.
Felix also worked in various other jobs before spending ten years in the advertising industry as an account director at Wand Agency. In 2010, he made his acting debut on BBC Radio and has since appeared in commercials, stage productions, and TV shows. In 2015, he starred alongside his step-mother, Sarina Taylor, in the film Solitary.
Felix is a keen reader and lover of jokes and stories, and has tried his hand at stand-up comedy and written for and participated in live sketch shows like News Revue. As the son of a French mother and English father, he has a unique appreciation for both Marmite and the andouillette of Eastern and Northern France.
In July 2016, Felix published his first novel, "Serve Cold".
