Ewen, a native of a quaint town in Northern Ireland, embarked on a journey of academic pursuits by enrolling in the University of Stirling, Scotland, where he pursued a degree in Film & English. Following his graduation, he ventured into the world of theatre, honing his craft as a writer before transitioning to the realms of television and film.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ewen has had the distinction of being involved in the production of three feature films, including the critically acclaimed war drama, Little Kingdom. His impressive portfolio also includes contributions to the popular British television serial, Hollyoaks, as well as the development of shows that have been sold to major television networks such as the BBC and RTE in Ireland.
Ewen's remarkable talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as he has been selected for the prestigious TalentLab scheme of the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the BBC Writersroom Northern Irish Writers scheme. In addition, he is a proud member of the Irish Film & TV Academy and the Writers' Guild of Great Britain, underscoring his commitment to his craft and his place within the industry.
