Biography

Eugenia Kuzmina is a multifaceted Russian-American artist, comedian, and model, born to a renowned nuclear physicist father who was one of the first responders to the Chornobyl disaster. Her mother, a former scientist and housewife, played a significant role in her upbringing. Growing up in Post-Soviet times, Eugenia was exposed to the challenges of food lines and scarcity.

As a child, she was training to become a professional ice skater when, at the tender age of 13, she was discovered by a talent scout and cast in a Russian version of Saturday Night Live, "Eralash." This initial exposure led to her being cast in a Chuck Norris film, but visa issues prevented her from leaving the country.

Eugenia's modeling career took off when she was noticed by a scout at Nathalie Models Europe and signed a contract to work with prominent brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Cartier, Dior, Armani, Hermes, Loreal, and Vogue. She then moved to Paris at 15 and continued to work with top brands, eventually signing with Ford Models and IMG.

Her modeling career led to opportunities in the film industry, with appearances in Rodrigo Prieto's directorial debut "Likeness" alongside Elle Fanning, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and received critical acclaim. She also worked with John Turturro in Woody Allen's "Fading Gigolo" and alongside Bill Murray in "Rock The Kasbah."

Eugenia's extensive television credits include roles in "Spy City," "True Blood," "New Girl," "Castle," "The Comeback," "Lady Dynamite," and "Tour De Pharmacy." She is passionate about comedy and regularly performs stand-up at The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory. She has also created a touring show, "Models of Comedy," and is an avid motorcycle enthusiast who enjoys performing her own stunts.

Eugenia is fluent in French and Portuguese and is an advocate for environmental causes worldwide. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, Bill Block, CEO of Miramax, and their two children.
