Etienne Faure's cinematic journey began with a series of short films, including "The InvisibleLyrics" featuring Guillaume Depardieu, Thomas Langmann, and Olivier Martinez, which garnered numerous festival awards. He also created "All The Boys" with Jean-Claude Brialy, Elodie Bouchez, and Thomas Langmann, as well as "The End of the Night" with Sebastien Roch.
In addition to his short films, Faure signed a documentary, "Looking for Tadzio", which explored the life of the young actor Tadzio from Visconti's "Death in Venice". He then went on to produce and direct his first feature film, "In extremis", starring Sebastien Roch alongside Julie Depardieu, Aurélien Wiik, Jean-Claude Brialy, and Christine Boisson.
Faure continued to work in dual roles as producer and director, establishing Eivissa Productions and becoming a member of the prestigious Society of Authors, Directors Producers (ARP). His subsequent productions included the short film "Prisoner" and the documentary "What? Eternity", which explored the life of Arthur Rimbaud and featured Jean-Claude Brialy, Dolores Chaplin, Jocelyn Quivrin, Christopher Hampton, Bertrand Delanoe, and Raphael.
Faure also produced the short film "Lapis Lazuli", directed by Boris Diéval and starring Yoann Libéreau. His second feature film, "The Illusions", starred Aurélien Wiik, Catherine Wilkening, Caroline Guerin, Baptiste Caillaud, and Lea Seydoux. His third feature film, "Chaos (Desordres)", featured Isaach De Bankole, Sonia Rolland, and Niels Schneider and premiered at several international film festivals.
The next feature film, "Bizarre", was shot in NYC in 2014 and premiered at the Berlin Film Festival. It was released in France in 2013. Faure's subsequent feature film, "River Bank (Un monde ailleurs)", was released in South America in January 2019 and in France in 2020.
