Ethan Hutchison, a native of Long Island, New York, now resides in Los Angeles, California. At the tender age of three, Ethan boldly proclaimed to his parents that he was "born to be an actor", a declaration that would set the course for his future endeavors.
His early start in the entertainment industry began at the age of four, when he landed the recurring role of Jake Gaines in "The Path". This marked the beginning of his journey as a young actor, with many more exciting roles to come.
Ethan is perhaps best known for his lead role as Blue Bordelon in the NAACP Image Award and People's Choice Award-winning series "Queen Sugar", a role that earned him two Young Artist Awards and two Young Entertainer Awards. He also received nominations for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Performance by a Youth and the BET Young Stars Award for his portrayal in the series.
In addition to his work on "Queen Sugar", Ethan has also starred as Young Sam in the second season of Disney's hit mystery adventure series "Secrets of Sulphur Springs". Furthermore, he made his feature film debut, winning a Young Entertainer Award for his portrayal of Macduff's Son in A24's "The Tragedy of Macbeth".
When not pursuing his acting career, Ethan is an avid saber fencer and enjoys producing an audio podcast called "Cubed Heroes" in his spare time.
