Estrella Nouri is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for herself as an actress, singer, model, and stand-up comedian. Born in Sweden to Persian parents, she is fluent in three languages: Farsi, Swedish, and English. Despite her academic prowess, having entered college at the age of 15 as a biology and chemistry major, Estrella's true passion lay in the performing arts.
As she pursued her studies, she joined an acting class and landed her first role on the Emmy-winning TV series "2 Broke Girls" on CBS. This breakthrough was soon followed by her being handpicked by Oprah Winfrey and Ava Duvernay for a key role in the Emmy-nominated show "Queen Sugar". During this time, Estrella also released her debut single "Farari", which became a groundbreaking hit in the Middle East.
In addition to her music and acting endeavors, Estrella also starred in the TV film "Shadow Wolves", playing the role of Alex Williams opposite Thomas Gibson. Her stand-up comedy career took off as she embarked on a world tour, breaking barriers as a Farsi/English bilingual comedian and performing to sold-out crowds in the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
In July 2019, Estrella was discovered by Paul Marciano, who immediately made her the new face of Guess Marciano. Within a few short months, she walked the 2019 Guess Lake Como fashion show in Italy, was the face of the 2020 Guess Marciano European and U.S. spring look book, shot the 2019-2020 Guess Marciano holiday international campaign, and became the face of all Guess Marciano store fronts worldwide. Her Guess Marciano campaign has been published in 7 international magazines, including Elle, Harper Bazaar, and Marie Claire.
