Born in the vibrant city of Kansas City, Missouri, Erron Jay's passion for the performing arts began to flourish at the tender age of 14. Initially, his aspirations lay in the realm of singing, blessed with a remarkable voice, yet it was acting that ultimately captured his heart. Following in the esteemed footsteps of renowned Missouri State University (MSU) alumni John Goodman and Kathleen Turner, Erron received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Performance from MSU.
His academic pursuits continued as he pursued his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from DePaul University in the bustling metropolis of Chicago, Illinois. This pivotal moment marked a turning point in his career, as his debut film appearance in Larva (2005) instilled within him the drive and motivation to persevere along the path trodden by countless others. In addition to his acting endeavors, Erron is a talented musician, serving as the lead vocalist and percussionist for the band Those Acoustic Kats.
