Erin Morris, a talented American actress, was born and raised in St. Peters, Missouri, on May 23, 2000. Her early passion for the performing arts was evident from a young age, as she began her journey in the entertainment industry with her first stage play, A Christmas Carol, at Lindenwood University in 2010.
As her career began to unfold, Erin landed roles in two St. Louis-based independent films in 2012, which garnered recognition from producers for her exceptional performances. In 2013, she was cast in the first St. Louis drama pilot TV series, Up on High Ground, playing the series regular role of Erin O'Byrne.
Throughout her middle school and high school years, Erin was actively involved in various plays, choir concerts, and talent shows, showcasing her singing and acoustic guitar skills. Some of her notable roles include Belle in Beauty & the Beast, Kim MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie, Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress, and Ariel Moore in her senior production of Footloose. At the age of 16 and 17, Erin acted in multiple unaired TV pilots, making her the youngest cast-member in the two adult comedy pilots.
After graduating high school, Erin decided to pursue her passion for musical theatre by attending Lindenwood University, where she majored in the subject. She starred in several student films, including Then and Now, for which she won the "Best Actress" Lindy Award in 2019.
Less than a year into her college journey, Erin decided to take a leap of faith and move to New York City to attend an intensive 3-month program at the International College of Musical Theatre (ICMT). As of Spring 2020, Erin resides in Manhattan and will be studying Meisner Technique full-time at The Neighborhood Playhouse starting Fall 2020.
