Erika's journey in the world of acting began in her early years, when she was born in Tyler, Texas, and later raised in Overland Park, Kansas. Her passion for acting was ignited at a tender age, when she started performing on the prestigious stage of "Theatre for Young America". This early exposure to the world of acting laid the foundation for her future endeavors.
After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Howard University, Erika made the move to the vibrant city of New York, where she began her career in the modeling industry with the renowned Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. Concurrently, she dedicated herself to honing her craft, further developing her skills as an actress.
Erika's success in print ads and national cosmetic campaigns soon followed, and she went on to sign with the esteemed Paradigm Talent Agency. This marked the beginning of her extensive career in television commercials, with over 30 national network commercials to her credit.
In addition to her impressive acting resume, Erika also served as an Associate Producer on the feature film Santorini Blue, which boasted an impressive cast list, including Ice-T, Coco T, and Richard Belzer, to name a few.
