Erika Lust, born Erika Hallqvist in 1977, hails from Stockholm, Sweden. She pursued higher education at the University of Lund, where she majored in Human Rights and Feminism, ultimately graduating with a Degree in Political Science.
As a multifaceted creative, Erika is a screenplay writer, director, producer, and author specializing in adult entertainment. Her most recent and ambitious project, XConfessions, is a groundbreaking endeavor that combines her distinctive cinematic style with the public's own sex stories. The crowdsourced platform allows users to share their personal sex stories, which Erika handpicks and transforms into short films, revolutionizing erotic cinema. To date, XConfessions has released over 50 films.
In 2004, Erika relocated to Barcelona, Spain, and co-founded LustFilms with Pablo Dobner.
