Erick Nathan is a multifaceted artist with a diverse range of talents, making him a rare find in the entertainment industry. As a choreographer, dancer, singer, musician, music producer, actor, host, MC, and DJ, he has demonstrated his exceptional versatility in various fields.
After graduating from high school in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Nathan moved to Los Angeles, where he quickly landed high-profile gigs such as "An Evening With Stars: Tribute To Smokey Robinson," featuring Stevie Wonder, Joss Stone, and Heather Headley. He also appeared on Nickelodeon TV shows "Victorious" and "iCarly," and was a contestant on the reality dance competition show "Your Momma Don't Dance" on Lifetime, earning a mention in People magazine.
Nathan's impressive dance skills were showcased in a spoof of "Glee" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as in Nintendo Wii's "Just Dance 2 and 3" television commercials. His singing talent caught the attention of industry professionals, leading to an invitation to join a new boy band called Skyline, which opened for El DeBarge and Babyface on Jamie Foxx's "Foxxhole" show, broadcast on SiriusXM Radio.
In 2012, Nathan relocated to Atlanta, where he continued to pursue his passion for dance, teaching classes in hip hop, contemporary, jazz, partnering, and ballet at various studios around town. He also performs as a host and MC, teaching Master Classes for Dance USA and other dance competitions & conventions across the country.
Nathan's entrepreneurial spirit led him to create his own mobile DJ and entertainment production company, DJerock Productions, where he DJs, hosts, and produces music for artists in L.A., Nashville, and Atlanta. He is a skilled drummer and guitarist, and is set to launch his solo singing/rapping career with a forthcoming solo debut EP.
In 2014, Nathan was a Top 8 finalist in Atlanta's singing competition "Sing For Your Life" but had to withdraw due to his selection for the national tour of FMA Live!, an interactive, traveling hip hop concert for students that inspires them to explore science, technology, engineering, and math careers, sponsored by Honeywell & NASA. He will be on tour throughout Fall 2015.
