Born into a Hollywood film family, Eric Stacey's early life was deeply rooted in the industry, with his father being a founding member of the Director's Guild of America, having worked as a first assistant director on the iconic film "Gone With The Wind". After his father's tragic death in a location auto accident in 1969, Eric co-produced one of the first feature films to come out of the American Film Institute, "A Berkeley Christmas", directed by Frank Dandridge.
