Kochmer, a multifaceted creative force, has a rich background in experimental theater and film, having had the privilege of mentoring under the esteemed Elizabeth Swados at LaMama Theatre during his time at Marymount Manhattan College and later, under the guidance of George Landow/Owen Land shortly after completing his collegiate education.
Between 2006 and 2012, Kochmer made a significant impact on the film industry, appearing in an impressive array of over 40 feature and short films. However, his creative journey was far from over, as he soon transitioned behind the camera to explore his passion for directing, producing, editing, and writing.
For the next eight years, Kochmer devoted himself to crafting low-budget independent feature films and short films, leaving an indelible mark on the industry with his impressive body of work, which includes four feature films, ten short films, and a staggering series of over 100 segments.
As his reputation as a creative force continued to grow, Kochmer's role evolved to encompass both creative producing and line producing, allowing him to consult on an astonishing number of over 500 films. He continues to work independently and for companies such as Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and R&R Media, solidifying his position as a respected and in-demand line producer and creative producer.
