Eric Donell was born in the year 1967 within the charming city of Uppsala, Sweden, a place that would later serve as the foundation for his artistic pursuits.
As a young individual with a passion for the performing arts, Donell sought out education at the esteemed Calle Flygare Theater school in Stockholm, Sweden, where he honed his craft and laid the groundwork for a successful career. In addition to his studies in Sweden, Donell also attended various schools in Los Angeles, further refining his skills and expanding his knowledge in the entertainment industry.
It was in Los Angeles that Donell landed his breakout role as "Jörgen" in the Swedish drama series "Friends &Enemies", a part that he would go on to play for an impressive 650 episodes between 1996 and 1999. However, it was during this time that Donell began to feel an itch to explore other creative avenues, and in 1999, he left the series to focus on writing, producing, co-directing, editing, and starring in the feature film "Outside Your Door".
