At a tender age, he developed a profound appreciation for music, with his mother's eclectic record collection serving as the catalyst for his musical journey. The influence of renowned artists such as Dire Straits, Franco Battiato, and John Lennon can be distinctly heard in his early work.
He seized the opportunity to showcase his talent by sending a VHS tape to MTV, which ultimately led to a successful audition. This marked the beginning of his illustrious career in the music industry.
In 1994, he made the bold decision to relocate from Rome to London, where he began working for MTV UK. This move not only broadened his horizons but also provided him with invaluable experience in the field.
The following year, he transitioned to Italian Radio DJ, where he hosted the popular afternoon program "P.O. Box" for a period of one hour. This stint not only honed his hosting skills but also allowed him to connect with a wider audience.
In 1997, he made the decision to return to Italy and began working for the newly established MTV Italy. During his tenure, he hosted the program "Sonic" for the initial two seasons and also had the privilege of hosting the 1st of May concert in Rome.
In 1998, he took on a new challenge by working for the Italian State television, RAi, where he hosted the program "Taratata" for the first two seasons. However, he eventually relinquished the role to the renowned Italian journalist Vincenzo Mollica.
Gabriele Muccino, a prominent filmmaker, offered him a role in his successful movie "L'ultimo bacio". Despite the opportunity, he declined the lead role in the Italian sitcom "Via Zanardi 33", which ultimately flopped. This experience served as a valuable lesson, and he returned to MTV Italy, where he co-hosted "Live @ Supersonic" alongside VJ Paola Mauggeri and "Brand:New".
