Engin Altan Duzyatan was born on July 26, 1979, in the city of Izmir, Turkey. His great-grandparents hail from a rich cultural heritage, being Turkish immigrants from Yugoslavia and Albanian immigrants from Pristina. This diverse background likely played a significant role in shaping his artistic perspective and creative endeavors.
After completing his education at 9 Eylul University's Performing Arts - Acting Department, Duzyatan began his acting career in Istanbul in the year 2001. Throughout his illustrious career, he has established himself as one of the highest-paid actors in Turkey. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Advanced Acting Techniques from Bahcesehir University.
Duzyatan has appeared in numerous television shows, including Kocum Benim, Hurrem Sultan, Muhurlu Guller, Azize, Sil Bastan, Kizlar Yurdu, Sevgili Dunurum, Cesaretin Var mi Aska, Bir Bulut Olsam, Kapali Carsi, Son, Yol Ayrimi, Cinayet, and Ciragan Baskini. He has also had the privilege of playing the leading role in the popular TV show Dirilis Ertugrul, portraying the character of Ertugrul Gazi.
In addition to his television work, Duzyatan has appeared in various motion pictures, such as Kalbin Zamani, Beyza'nin Kadinlari, Cennet, Romantik Komedi, New York'ta Bes Minare, Bir Avuc Deniz, Anadolu Kartallari, Bu Son Olsun, Romantik Komedi 2, Bu Iste Bir Yalnizlik Var, and Ve Panayir Koyden Gider.
One of his most notable achievements is winning the Best Actor Award at the Los Angeles Movie Awards for his outstanding performance in the motion picture Bir Avuc Deniz.
Duzyatan has also demonstrated his versatility as a thespian by acting in various theatre plays, including Anne Karenina with Kenter Tiyatrosu and Kurklu Merkur with DOT. Furthermore, he has directed the play Dar Ayakkabi ile Yasamak at the Diyarbakir National Theater.
In addition to his acting career, Duzyatan has also served as the anchor of the live TV show Canli Para.
