Emmanuelle Chaulet, a renowned artist coach, director, author, and international film actress, has made France her home since 2014. Prior to this, she was a Lecturer in Theatre at the University of Southern Maine from 1994 to 2013.
As an artist coach, Emmanuelle employs a unique blend of techniques, including Michael Chekhov and Lee Strasberg methods, Voice Dialogue, and energy awareness techniques. Over the past 20 years, she has developed her own coaching style, integrating Voice Dialogue and mindfulness techniques to foster creativity, character development, and emotional balance.
Her groundbreaking concept of "character vibration" and inner characters has revolutionized the way actors approach their craft. Emmanuelle has also addressed post-performance stress and trauma, offering a holistic approach to acting.
With a 30-year career spanning theatre and film in both France and the US, Emmanuelle has appeared in notable films such as "Boyfriend and Girlfriends" by Eric Rohmer and "All the Vermeers in New York" by Jon Jost, winner of the best American independent film award.
As a Fulbright Scholar at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, Emmanuelle studied acting and the Michael Chekhov technique. She has performed alongside esteemed actors like Vincent Cassel, Isaach de Bankole, and Gerald Laroche, and worked with renowned directors Eric Rohmer, Alain Resnais, Claire Denis, Jon Jost, and Xavier Durringer.
Certified as an Energy Awareness Counselor, Emmanuelle has also studied Voice Dialogue facilitation with Martha-Lou Wolff, Ph.D. Miriam Dyak, and Tamar Stone. She is the founder and director of the Starlight Acting Institute, offering individual and group training in holistic acting.
Emmanuelle holds a Master's degree in International Management (MIM) in cultural management for non-profit organizations from ESCP Europe and teaches performance business courses for artists. She has been included in the prestigious "Who's Who in America" since 2007.
Currently, Emmanuelle resides in France with her husband and son, frequently traveling to the US for work and personal commitments.
