Born with a passion for the performing arts, this talented individual made her film debut at the tender age of 15, simultaneously pursuing her education in dramatic art and honing her craft through various stage and screen productions. It wasn't until the 1990s that she began to make her mark in films directed by notable industry professionals, including Julio Medem, Juan Estelrich Jr., and Pilar Miró.
Her breakout role in "La Ardilla Roja" earned her a trifecta of prestigious awards, including the Sant Jordi Award, Cartelera Turia Award, and Spanish Actors Union Prize, all for Best Female Actress. Her outstanding performance in "El Perro del Hortelano" further solidified her reputation, earning her the Honor of the Goya Award for Best Female Interpretation in 1997.
