Emir Skalonja, a visionary filmmaker, entered this world on August 30th, 1987, in the culturally rich city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was then a part of Yugoslavia.
Following his childhood in this historic city, Emir made the bold decision to relocate to the United States in the year 2002.
Throughout his career, Emir has garnered widespread recognition for his remarkable work in the comedy horror genre, particularly his homage to 80s cinema with his iconic film series, Casting Couch Slaughter, Holland Road Massacre: The Legend of Pigman, and The Plague films.
Emir currently resides in Angola, New York, USA, alongside his loving wife, Nicole, their adorable daughter, Alma, and their cherished canine companion, as well as their two feline friends.
