Emily Shah is an 18-year-old resident of Edison, New Jersey, who made history by becoming the youngest contestant to win the title of Miss New Jersey USA 2014 on October 20, 2013. This remarkable achievement marked the beginning of her illustrious career.
Born with a passion for the performing arts, Emily began intense ballet training at the American Repertory's Princeton Ballet at a young age. She also took acting courses at renowned institutions such as Weist-Barron, New York Film Academy, Lee Strasberg's Institute of Film and Theater in New York and Los Angeles, and Madumati's Dance & Acting Academy in Hindi for Bollywood.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Emily managed her high school's baseball team for three years, showcasing her exceptional leadership skills. Her philanthropic efforts are equally impressive, with a strong commitment to various charitable organizations, including the Kessler Foundation, Make-a-Wish, Joyful Heart, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Susan G Komen, Becca's Closet, Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation, End Polio with Rotary / Ambassador to UNICEF, and Autism Awareness, to name a few.
Emily's experience in the film industry is extensive, with notable credits including assisting the stunt director on Captain America 2, working as an assistant to Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys, and assisting the stunt team on "Run all Night" and "Fast & Furious 7". Her desire to learn the techniques behind the camera before taking on leading roles has been a driving force in her career.
As a fluent speaker of Hindi and Gujarati, Emily is open to exploring crossover opportunities in Hollywood and Bollywood. Her dream job is to become a "James Bond Girl" or the next "Agent Salt", demonstrating her ambition and dedication to her craft.
In 2016, Emily showcased her acting skills as the lead actor in the music video "Phone" with singer Mickey Singh, which garnered over 3 million views in just two weeks of its release. Her subsequent music video, "Hold Me", was also released in December 2016.
