Biography

Emily Joyce, the youngest of three sisters, all of whom are immersed in the UK's entertainment industry. Their mother's passion for the theater led her to take the three girls to numerous shows, fostering a love for the performing arts in each of them. As a result, Emily auditioned for and was successfully accepted into the prestigious National Youth Theatre at the tender age of 15.

Following her stint with the National Youth Theatre, Emily embarked on a career in fashion, working at British Vogue. However, her creative aspirations soon led her to pursue a degree in drama, while simultaneously fronting a rock band called "In Spite of All That." As her musical endeavors gained momentum, Emily found herself torn between her love for singing and her growing passion for acting. Ultimately, she made the decision to focus on her acting career, leaving her singing career behind.

After completing her drama school training, Emily took the stage by storm, performing for a season with the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company. Her impressive performance caught the attention of ITV, leading to a guest role as a murderer in the critically acclaimed drama Cracker in 1993. Since then, Emily has become a staple in English television, captivating audiences with her versatility and range.
