Many fans know Emily from her leading role as the fearless female Viking Warrior 'BRIDA' in the highly acclaimed and successful Netflix series 'The Last Kingdom', which is now in its 5th and final season. Emily's early life was marked by a unique cultural blend, growing up in Vienna with a British father and an Irish mother, both of whom are skilled pianists. She currently resides in both Vienna and Berlin.
As a teenager, Emily considered pursuing a career in dance, but after participating in a school play during her final year of high school, she discovered her true passion for acting. Following her graduation, Emily enrolled in the prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar to hone her acting skills. In 2008, she was under contract as a stage actor at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna.
