Emily Aguilar is a trailblazing American film director, creative extraordinaire, and a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry. Right out of film school, she wrote, directed, and produced her debut feature film, "Clara's Ultimate Christmas", a remarkable achievement that showcased her remarkable talent.
After selling her first feature film to BMG Global, which is now available on various platforms including PureFlix, Amazon Prime, Target, and Walmart online stores, Emily went on to direct her second feature film, "Pipeline", an experimental horror-thriller that was completed and sold just a year after her first feature film acquisition.
Throughout her career, Emily has honed her craft by freelancing, creating branded video content for businesses and entrepreneurs, including the Hard Rock Cafe, Telemundo, The Yoga Collective, and Angela Sum, a Project Runway designer, among others.
Emily's third feature film, "Brie's Bake Off Challenge", was written, directed, and produced by her, and is now streaming on HBO Max, with an exclusive on Deadline. In addition, she has directed and produced various award-winning short films and branded video content, collaborating with renowned artists such as Snoop Dogg, Jordin Sparks, Warren G, and Jenn Morel.
As a female director of Salvadoran and Peruvian descent, Emily is pushing through the barriers and changing the status quo in the entertainment industry. With a creative eye for detail and a passion for telling more inclusive character-driven stories, Emily is an award-winning film director who has earned recognition for her hard work, perseverance, determination, and love for storytelling through film.
