Emilio Buale's life took a dramatic turn when he was just six years old, as he left his birthplace of Equatorial Guinea to settle in Spain with his parents and brothers. Little did he know that his life was about to take a drastic change in direction, as he had no aspirations to become an actor at that time.
Fast forward to a fateful day in Madrid, where Emilio found himself waiting in a subway station alongside casting director Paco Pino. It was here that his fate was sealed, as Pino discovered him and saw potential in the young man to play the role of Ombasi in Imanol Uribe's 1996 film Bwana.
Prior to his newfound career in acting, Emilio was diligently studying to become a construction engineer, while also working as a fireman to make ends meet. However, he couldn't resist the opportunity presented to him and accepted the role, subsequently traveling to Almería just two weeks later to make his debut alongside renowned Spanish actors Andrés Pajares and María Barranco.
This marked the beginning of Emilio's journey in the world of acting, as he continued to work in films, TV series, and theatre. He became a member of the Spanish Company of Classic Theatre for a couple of years, and has since appeared in numerous stage productions.
