Eliana's upbringing was marked by a significant amount of geographical and cultural flux, as she attended a total of 13 different schools throughout her childhood and adolescence. This constant change and movement, coupled with the fact that she lived in multiple countries, including Chile and New Zealand, instilled in her a profound curiosity about people and their diverse experiences. Her unique physical appearance is a testament to her mixed heritage, with her father being of Chilean descent, specifically from the indigenous Quechua Indian community, and her mother being of Ashkenazi Jewish and Northwestern European ancestry. Eliana's impressive physical abilities have enabled her to excel in various athletic pursuits, including marathon running, boxing training under an Olympic-level coach, and advanced cycling. In addition to her love of sports, she is also a skilled practitioner of the art of live storytelling, having recently been featured on The Moth podcast on NPR. Eliana currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, where they co-own and operate the popular Hollywood restaurant, Electric Owl.
