Eliana Alexander's life began in Mexico City, where her parents, Elias and AnaRosa, chose her name by combining the first half of theirs, making hers a truly unique moniker. Her father, an industrial engineer, worked for the US government, constructing and improving towns across South and Central America. This led to a life of travel for Eliana, who had the opportunity to visit countries such as Paraguay, Guatemala, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.
As a result of this upbringing, Eliana became proficient in five different Spanish dialects and fluent in English. Her love for classic films inspired her to pursue a career in the performing arts, and she developed a passion for singing, dancing, and acting. After moving to Los Angeles in her early teens, Eliana began singing lead in a band three to four nights a week while attending high school. Her remarkable talent and four-octave range soon took her to Japan as a solo artist.
Upon returning to LA, Eliana auditioned for a musical that ignited all of her passions. She pursued both dance and acting simultaneously with unwavering dedication, driven by an unrelenting desire to be the best. Eliana's unyielding will to excel led her to open EDGE performing arts center, Kids Dance LA, and LA Dance Force, all of which became renowned for training top-notch dancers and choreographers.
Although she has since moved on from the dance industry, Eliana's legacy continues to touch lives around the world. Her captivating performance on camera earned her an Alma award, and her enchanting choreography on stage helped earn Imagen awards for both Paquito's Christmas and Veteranos.
Throughout her life, Eliana has maintained a simple yet profound motto: "class and elegance." Whether she is on stage as a triple threat or using her genuine creative genius to compose, choreograph, direct, produce, or write, it is her love for the performing arts, coupled with the support of her husband John and her courage to follow her dreams, that has enabled her to succeed in everything she does.
